APF Languages

APF Languages is an organization based on hope and spirit. We believe in a new, dynamic Ecuador and are committed to intelligent globalization. APF contributes to the betterment of Ecuador and is helping the nation to meet the new millennium by creating opportunities, once in life time experiences, that allow interested persons to learn other languages and cultures while helping their fellow man.

Ecuador is small but incredibly diverse. More than 40 distinct peoples and a number of unique regions and ecosystems constitute Ecuador. Glaciated Andean peaks, coastal mangroves and the Galapagos Islands and Amazon rainforest, with their countless mini-climates and unique worlds, are covered in a few minutes by plane or a few hours by car or boat. It would take you a month anywhere else in the world to experience what you can do in a day in Ecuador!

APF financially supports some volunteers and collaborates with non-profit organizations to find ways to assist volunteers realize their desire to help others. We strive to learn and develop together with our students and institutions from all over the planet. Our aim is to assist Ecuador's ailing indigenous communities and to guide all of Ecuador to a better horizon.

Teachers and Programs

Our programs permit students to learn Spanish regardless of their language level. Both beginners and advanced will profit immensely the specially designed APF system. New courses start every week of the year without interruption. At the end of each course students receive an international diploma as evidence of their successful studies.

Seventy percent of our teachers have post-graduate or doctorate degrees and all of our staff are experienced in teaching Spanish and using the APF method. We offer one on one courses to insure every pupil gets the attention he or she deserves, also one to two ( one teacher and two students) courses available.

Accommodation

APF thoroughly screens all homestay families and looks for good matches between students and hosts because we believe students that are comfortable with their families practice their Spanish more and thus improve quickly. Not only do family stays permit frequent practice with native speakers that help one learn the language rapidly, they also often end in lifetime friendships that foster global understanding. Furnished apartments are also available (only in Quito). These are a good alternative for those who would like to live with other students. All APF arranged accommodations are close to the school.
